Although the governor could not provide with any statistics on crocodiles and hippopotamus preying on human beings, he promised that his office would take up the matter with higher authorities to speed up the provision to kill animals that were causing havoc to the people
The Governor had called on the Environment and Tourism ministry to give statistical report their immediate attention and grant immediate authority to destroy such killer animals.
He said any delays might cause problems for the Nature Conservation Officials as they would fail to identify the crocodiles or hippos that would have killed or attacked people.
