STATE GOVERNMENT has declared optional holidays for its employees for the calendar year 2007.

February 12 - Maharishi Dayanand birthday, February 24 - Shabri Jayanti, March 3 - Holi, March 5 - Bhai Dooj, March 15 - Bhakt Mata Karma Jayanti, March 20 - Virangana Avanti Bai Balidan day, April 13 - Vallabhcharya jayanti, April 14 - Vishu / Sen jayanti, April 19 - Chhatrapati Shivaji jayanti, April 20 -

December 31 – Balinath ji Berwa jayanti have been declared as optional holidays. Any Government employee can avail any three of the above-mentioned 51 optional holidays. The occasions falling on Sunday in the year 2007 have not been included in the optional holidays list namely January 7 – Gadeer - e - Khum, January 28 - Yom-e Ashura, April 1 - Hatkeshwar Jayanti, April 22 - Shankaracharya Jayanti, June 17 - Chhatrasaljayanti / Maharana Pratap Jayanti, June 24 - Mahesh jayanti
/ Virangana Durgavati Martyr Day, September 23 - Dol Gyaras, November 11 - Bhai Dooj, December 16 - Sant Shri Jin Taran Taran Jayanti and December 23 - Datatray Jayanti.
