Govt snaps all internet services in Kashmir Valley

Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday decided to snap all internet services in the Kashmir Valley for Eid-ul-Azha. The decision, the government claims was taken as there "was apprehension of misuse of data services by anti-national elements".

The order signed by inspector general police, Kashmir zone, Javed Gillani, says internet use is likely to cause "deterioration in law and order situation".
