"We urge our Mujahideen (fighters) everywhere to resume martyr operations (suicide attacks) in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Jaffa and everywhere else," Nizar Rayan shouted into loudspeakers at demonstrations in a northern Gaza town.

Hamas, which won a landslide election victory last January, has not claimed any suicide attack inside Israel since January 2005 when the Islamic movement agreed to an informal truce in such attacks.
