Responsibility for the Yojana has been assigned to Building Officer J S Jadon, who has also been appointed in-charge Executive Engineer. Jadon also gets charge of construction of civil works under garden beautification programme.

In a statement issued here, the Indore Municipal Corporation announced that Singh would, however, continue to retain administrative control over civil works in the beautification project.

The IMC administration also effected a reshuffle in the Health Department. As per the new arrangement, Health Officer Dr KS Verma would be in-charge of zones 8 and 9, while D C Garg and Rajesh Kothari would be in-charge of zones 10 and 11 and 6 and 7 respectively.

Dr Natwar Sarda, who was assaulted and wounded during a raid on spurious food manufacturing units recently, has been assigned charge of zones 4, 5 and 12.

Food Inspector Vivek Jain has been accorded responsibility for ensuring compliance of Health Department norms by food joints in Chhatarapati Shivaji zone and Mahatma Gandhi zone.
