HC summons BSNL officials
THE ALLAHABAD High Court has directed Chief General Manager of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, New Delhi AK Sinha, Chief General Manager, Telecom Lucknow VK Shukla and Deputy General Manager (Administration) BSNL, Allahabad HN Maurya to appear before the Court.

THE ALLAHABAD High Court has directed Chief General Manager of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, New Delhi AK Sinha, Chief General Manager, Telecom Lucknow VK Shukla and Deputy General Manager (Administration) BSNL, Allahabad HN Maurya to appear before the Court.
The directive was issued by the court on a contempt petition filed by Shiv Ram Upadhyaya and others, alleging non-compliance of court’s order dated August 22,2005. Justice DP Singh fixed July 13, 2006 for framing of charges.
The petitioners were given promotion, but later on, their promotions were cancelled and an order for recovery of the excess money obtained through salaries during promotion was passed.
