Headmaster arrested

A headmaster accused of molesting and sexually harassing seven girl students of Class 5 at Primary School, Bhichkuri, under Kaundhiara police station in Allahabad was arrested on Monday. Kenneth John reports.

A headmaster accused of molesting and sexually harassing seven girl students of Class 5 at Primary School, Bhichkuri, under Kaundhiara police station in Allahabad was arrested on Monday.

Headmaster Chintamani Mishra had allegedly asked the girls to stay back after school hours on the pretext of taking their blood samples for medical examination.

Later, Mishra allegedly called these students one by one in a secluded classroom and forced them to take off their uniforms.

The headmaster not only passed obscene remarks during this period but also forced them to “cat walk” naked in the classroom. Police are investigating the case.
