Health camp held at Bishankhedi

GOVERNMENT BENAZIR Science and Commerce College organised a free day-long health camp at village Bishankhedi on the City outskirts on Sunday. Managing director of MP Agro Limited, Dr Pukhraj Maroo was the chief guest at the inauguration of the camp.

GOVERNMENT BENAZIR Science and Commerce College organised a free day-long health camp at village Bishankhedi on the City outskirts on Sunday. Managing director of MP Agro Limited, Dr Pukhraj Maroo was the chief guest at the inauguration of the camp.

Additional director of the Higher Education Department Dr Radhavallabh Sharma and principal of the college Dr Shobhna Vajpayee Maroo were present. A 90-year-old villager Gorabai inaugurated the camp. Dr Abhijit Chattopadhyay, Dr Gopal Meena, Dr Madhvi Wakode, Dr Kavita Gupta, Renu Sahu and Dinesh Patel checked up the health. During the camp, blood test, urine test, blood pressure and others were done.

Health cards were distributed. Malnourished children were also checked and nutritious supplements and medicines were given. About 600 villagers participated in the camp. The University Grants Commission sponsored the camp. Dr Sanjay Telang proposed the vote of thanks. The organising committee included Dr Sudhanshu Dwivedi, Dr Alok Verma, Dr Ajay Agrawal, Dr Rajesh Khare, Dr Rakesh Saxena, Dr Rajesh Shrivastava, Dr Nawal Singh, Dr Nityaranjan Das and others.
