Hearing on Jaya case adjourned to July 29

A court trying the disproportionate wealth case against former TN Chief Minister has adjourned further hearing to July 29.

The Special Court, trying the disproportionate wealth case against former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, adjourned further hearing to July 29 on Saturday.

When the case came up for hearing this morning, Justice A T Manoli adjourned the hearing in view of the stay order granted by the Supreme Court.

The case, filed by DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan against the merger of the wealth case and the London hotel case against Jayalalithaa, would come up for hearing in the apex court on July 24.
