Helliniko Olympic Complex
The Helliniko Olympic Complex is situated south of Athens and includes five Olympic Venues.
Location: 32 km south of the Olympic village

Events: Baseball, Canoe/Kayak Slalom Racing Basketball (preliminaries), Fencing, Handball (Finals), Hockey, Softball.

The Helliniko Olympic Complex is situated south of Athens and includes five Olympic Venues.
At the Indoor Arena and Fencing Hall the preliminaries of Basketball, the Handball finals and the Fencing events are to take place. Both venues are later additions to the already existing facilities to meet the Olympic requirements. The Indoor Arena includes a 14,100-seated capacity area, whereas the Fencing Hall has two rooms: one of 3,800 seats for the preliminaries and a 5,000 seated room for the finals of Fencing.
The Olympic Baseball Centre (BAC) and the Olympic Softball Stadium (SFB) will host the events of Baseball and Softball respectively. The BAC is a new construction to host one of the least popular games in Greece i.e. Baseball. It consists of two main courts, one of 8,700 and another of 4,000 seats to accommodate the fans of baseball from around the world. Whereas the SFB venue consists of a main Softball field of 4,800 seats, two warm-up fields and the requisite space for the athletes, competition management, Media, Olympic Family, and staff services.
The Olympic Canoe/ Kayak Salom Centre is another new and permanent construction located in the Helliniko Olympic Complex. The venue is designed to operate as a sports centre consisting of a competition course, a secondary training course, and a warm-up lake of natural form that occupies a total area of 27,000 square metres.
The Olympic Hockey Centre is another new construction, in the south of Athens, with one large pitch of 7,300 seats and a smaller one of 2,100 seats. It also includes a warm-up pitch for the training of all athletes that will take part in the competition of hockey.
