Hoax bomb call creates panic in Chennai

An anonymous call stating that a bomb would explode at the LIC main building here created some tense moments but it later proved to be hoax, police said.
An anonymous call stating that a bomb would explode at the LIC main building here created some tense moments but it later proved to be hoax, police said.
An unidentified caller informed them that a bomb was planted on the third floor of the building located on arterial Mount Road and it would explode any time.

Immediately a bomb squad rushed to the spot and after a thorough check, the call was declared hoax, they said.
