“So far, two departing flights have been affected; one has been cancelled and one delayed,” said Vaibhav Tiwari, spokesperson, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

Air India issued a press release on Monday, stating that Air India flight AI 191/192 from Mumbai-Newark and back, will be inordinately delayed owing to bad weather conditions.

The Mumbai-Newark (AI-191) flight for October 30 has been rescheduled to leave at 1pm instead of 1.35am.

The flights are expected to operate only after receiving clearance from the United States government and availability of airport services.
