I-T raid on business firm in Nagpur

The raids are on the business and residential premises of a prominent business group dealing in foodgrains, spices and dry fruits.

Income Tax officials were on Friday conducting searches at the business and residential premises of a prominent business group dealing in foodgrains, spices and dry fruits in the city, official sources said.

"A select team of 100 officials from the Directorate of Investigation are conducting the searches at Central Avenue", a top I-T official said.

Searches were conducted at 12 premises and survey was being done at rest of the premises of the group, they added.
