India's second largest lender, ICICI Bank, plans to announce its base rate on June 30, a top bank official said on Monday.
"We will announce our base rate on June 30," ICICI Bank's Managing Director & CEO, Chanda Kochhar, told reporters in Mumbai.
ICICI Bank expects a 20 per cent credit growth this fiscal and there is a strong demand for home loans.
"There is also a robust demand for auto loans," Kochhar said.
However, project finance is yet to pick-up, she said, adding, however, it was expected to pick up substantially in the second-half.
