IIT-Mumbai students protest OBC quota

Police officials have been posted outside the campus to prevent any untoward incident from happening.

Students of the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, staged a protest on Thursday, to oppose the Centre's decision to introduce reservations for OBCs in government- aided educational institutions.

The students said they supported striking doctors in Delhi and condemned the police action against medicos. The media were not allowed inside the IIT campus for security reasons. Police officials were posted outside the campus to prevent any untoward incident.
