IMC ban on rearing cattle
THE INDORE Municipal Corporation has imposed a strict ban on rearing cattle in the designated core areas of the city. The orders, which came into effect from Tuesday, have been issued under section 144 of CrPC.
THE INDORE Municipal Corporation has imposed a strict ban on rearing cattle in the designated core areas of the city. The orders, which came into effect from Tuesday, have been issued under section 144 of CrPC.
An official release stated that strict action would be taken against the offenders including owners of stray animals that are found roaming in the core area.
The areas include the entire stretch of AB Road falling under municipal limits, road from Dewas Naka to Bombay Hospital, road from Malviya Petrol pump via Rajiv Gandhi square to Rajendra Nagar, Ring Road to Phuti Kothi, Phuti Kothi square to Chandan Nagar trisection, Dhar Road, VIP Route No 1, Aerodrome Road via APTC, Sanver Road to MR 10. Besides, the entire area of Scheme Nos 54, 74, 78 and 114 has been designated as core area. The action has been taken keeping public safety in mind.
