TAKING serious note of the violation of election code of conduct during filing of nomination papers for municipal corporation election, the district magistrate Dr Hariom had directed subordinates to strictly implement election code of conduct and issue show cause notice to the candidates who took out large vehicles procession for filing of nomination papers. District magistrate Dr Hariom directed to submit their clarification by October 9 .
TAKING serious note of the violation of election code of conduct during filing of nomination papers for municipal corporation election, the district magistrate Dr Hariom had directed subordinates to strictly implement election code of conduct and issue show cause notice to the candidates who took out large vehicles procession for filing of nomination papers.
District magistrate Dr Hariom directed to submit their clarification by October 9 and said if the answer of the candidates would not be satisfactory their candidature may be cancelled.
He ordered all the SDMs and police officials to conduct the photography of the procession of the candidates.
He said usage of microphones and violation of code of conduct in expenses was point of concern and the officials should restrict the use of muscle and money in this election.
Dr Hariom said the numbers of banners; posters and flags were enough evidences that the limit of expenses had crossed.
Additional district magistrate PK Agrawal said that the candidates who had stalled their banners crossing the roads would be punished and he had advised the candidates to remove their banners from the city road.
