Senior Congress leaders, including party chief Sonia Gandhi, vice-president Rahul Gandhi and former prime minister Manmohan Singh, on Friday courted arrest after they were stopped from going to Parliament House as part of their “Save Democracy March”.

The Congress leaders started their march from Jantar Mantar but were stopped by police as section 144 had been imposed in the area. They later went to the Parliament Street police station to court arrest and were released after some time.
