India denies reports of Chinese incursion

AK Antony, however, admits there have been reports of some "minor incidents" along the Sino-Indian border.

India on Saturday denied that China has entered certain territories in the Eastern sector and destroyed some of its forward posts and bunkers.
"As far as Indian territories are concerned, nothing had happened," Defence Minister AK Antony told reporters in Gangtok.

"We have a long border with China and dispute regarding most of them are settled. But it doesn't mean that there is no problem. There are differences in perception -- We have our own perception and they have their own (over boundary)," he said.

Antony said that there have been reports of some "minor incidents" along the Sino-Indian border which the government is trying to settle through negotiations via diplomatic channels and border flag meetings.

"By and large, the border is peaceful," he said.
