India hammer Bangladesh to win U19 Tournament

Mahmudul Hasan wreaked havoc at the top, taking three wickets as India were reduced to 56 for 4 in the 19th over.

The two top teams advanced to the final which was contested between India who finished first and the second placed Bangladesh. India finished the tournament unbeaten in five matches. The triangular also included South Africa.

After this tournament, India will remain in South Africa for the two three-day matches which will be staged in Durban. The first match will be played from Friday, 11 th to Sunday 13th January and the second encounter is scheduled for Wednesday, 16th to Friday 18th January 2008.
