What of the NKC
There is no news on the state of the National Knowledge Commission (NKC) after the resignation of two of its most eminent members. Brahma Chellaney in A dud in the manger (May 23) has made a timely exposure of the controversial management regarding the most crucial defence related issue. The decision to put the development of Agni III on the backburner is, indeed, very surprising. There is a definite merit in questioning the government’s hush-hush deal.
