J J Public School sports conclude
THE SPORTS week organised at J J Public School concluded yesterday. Superintendent of Police Adarsh Katiyar was the chief guest of the programme while Dr Suresh Chitnis and Prof K Venkataraman were the special invitees at the programme.

Various sports competitions and tournaments were organised during the week. Ashima Pabley won the chess tournament in girls’ category while Ritesh Fatehchandani won in the boys’ category.
Vinita Savlani won the table tennis tournament while Yash Katariya bagged the title in boys’ group. The team led by Abhay Bhatodara won the football match, while another team led by F Ritesh bagged the second position.
Nikhil Maithil won the first prize in rifle shooting and Riya Bajaj grabbed the first position in athletics in girls’ group.
Vishal Kukreja achieved the first position in athletics in boys’ category. The chief guest distributed the prizes among the winners and presented them with gold and silver medals along with certificates.
Fanil, school principal S Mukherjee and others welcomed the guests. Hemlata Rochlani conducted the programme. Sports trainer Pravin Kholgade proposed the vote of thanks.
