US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Saturday said the suicide bomb attacks on two hotels in Jakarta are a "painful reminder" of the Mumbai terror attacks.
The suicide bomb attacks on two hotels in Jakarta on friday are the "painful reminder" that the threat is still very real, she said.
Clinton was talking to reporters after meeting the staff of Taj and Oberoi hotels, which came under attack by terrorists in November last year.
She said the United States will work with India and Indonesia and other countries to defeat terrorism.
Nine people were killed and 52 others, including at an Indian, injured when suicide bombers posing as guests targeted two luxury hotels in Jakarta.
