Josephites celebrate Christmas

ST JOSEPH?S Co-Ed School on Saturday celebrated Christmas with fervour and enthusiasm. Fr George Thanchan, CMI, Provincial of St Paul?s Province, Bhopal was the chief guest on the occasion.

ST JOSEPH’S Co-Ed School on Saturday celebrated Christmas with fervour and enthusiasm. Fr George Thanchan, CMI, Provincial of St Paul’s Province, Bhopal was the chief guest on the occasion.

The program began with a prayer service, followed by a prayer dance by the students of Class IX. The KG students presented a spectacular dance on ‘Felis Navy Dad’. The school choir sang a Christmas carol.

Chief guest Fr George Thanchan, in his address, explained why and how Christmas is celebrated. He wished the students and staff of the school ‘Merry Christmas’.

A skit based on the parable of ‘prodigal son’ was also presented on the occasion by the students of Class XI. When the last programme, a western dance, was being presented, Santa Claus surprised all with his exciting appearance and distributed flowers & chocolates to the children.

Principal Fr Maria Stephen, Manager Fr Abraham, Headmistress Sr Mercy, Head Coordinator Sr Julie, members of the staff and others were present on the occasion.
