From My Kind Of Place to Just My Kind Of Place may appear to be a slight semantic shift, but it's a curious case of an image makeover actually going against what was once a rocking nightspot. The substantial island bar next to the dance floor, which can be accessed from three sides, and the all-glass doors make the recently renovated nightclub look bigger than it actually is. But that hasn't helped one bit. From Sunday to Tuesday, the nightclub can be booked for private parties.

There's no cover charge, but sneakers or flip-flops aren't encouraged. Try the Hurricane (vodka and dark rum with pineapple and cranberry juice) and Highland Cooler (combination of Scotch and ginger ale). The snacks won't turn you one, unless you like Mediterranean Chicken Fritters, Kadak Seekh Kabab and Masala Paneer Tikka.
