"We have already interrogated around 16 members and recorded their statements. Around three members were yet to be interrogated. Those who were questioned continue to maintain that Nadia was killed in a rail accident, the sources said.

We have also sent a letter in writing to the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) stating that despite summons, the Station Master on duty at Mahalaxmi local station on the day of the accident had not turned up for interrogation," they said.

The residence of the said Station Master was also found locked, the sources said.

The police have not yet been able to trace any entry of the accident in the register. "There appears to be no proper register maintained of such accident cases. The register appears to be full of entries of approaching trains and those leaving the station only," the sources added.

The film's director Kaizad Gustad and his assistant Ashish Udeshi were arrested on June two, in connection with the death of Khan, who the duo claimed was killed in a road accident. Khan was knocked down by a local train on May 25.
