Will Katrina Kaif make a friendly appearance in Anees Bazmee’s Thank You?

Director Anees Bazmee has just flown off to Canada for a month-long schedule of Thank You. He is hoping to wrap up this film, that toplines Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan, Suniel Shetty, Sonam Kapoor, Celina Jaitley and Rimmi Sen, in three schedules by September.

Towards the end of the shooting, he’ll rope in another top star for a special appearance. Buzz is that it could be Katrina Kaif. But the director insists that no one’s been confirmed yet. “I’ll probably approach a dost I’m comfortable working with and someone who fits the part for this ‘friendly’ appearance,” he says.

Katrina has worked with Bazmee earlier in Welcome (2007) and Singh Is Kinng (2008). Reportedly, Bazmee had wanted Katrnia in the film, but she gave away her dates to Farah Khan for Tees Maar Khan instead. That’d reportedly irked the director. By doing the special appearance opposite Akshay, Katrina could make amends.
