Kate asked Streep to French-kiss her!
Actress Kate Winslet went up to the actor and said, "Oh my god, I love you so much, I would happily tongue-kiss you right now."
Actress Kate Winslet admits her blabbering tongue once put her into an embarrassing situation, when she asked Meryl Streep if she could French-kiss her.
The British beauty is given to uttering things on a whim, which often lead her to blurt out words she actually never meant. She reveals she was so exited to meet her idol at a recent awards ceremony she accidentally made the embarrassing offer.
“I went up to her and said, ‘Oh my God, I love you so much, I would happily tongue-kiss you right now!’” Hollywood Rag quoted The Holiday actress, as saying.
The 31-year-old also admits her hasty comments often annoy her husband, film director Sam Mendez, as she explained: “Doing things on a whim, taking risks - I definitely have that side. It drives Sam mad.”
But on the other hand, Winslet reveals her brave nature also plays a big part when she is choosing film roles.
“When I choose a role, it’s to try something different. I look back over the past decade and think, ‘God, I’ve had these wild opportunities to try so many outrageous things,’” she said.
