Well Done Abba

. “Working with Shyam sir was like a dream come true, although with a lot of pressure to give my hundred percent,” she says.

The film is an out-and-out comedy that revolves around a father-daughter relationship. Actor Boman Irani plays Lamba’s father. “It was fabulous working with him (Irani). We slipped into the role of father-daughter since day one. I’ve been calling him ‘Abba’ since then. It feels weird calling him Boman because of the excellent equation we shared throughout the film.”

Minissha sports a no make-up look in the film. “I think the simple look suits me the best. I was required to look like a village girl. The dirtier I was, the more crumpled my clothes were, and the more mud and dust on my feet, the better,” she says. “Most of the people who wrote in to me or met me have appreciated my look in the film.”
