Roofs flooded with rainwater started leaking all over again. The patients in the wards, especially under repair, had to run about to avoid the dripping ceiling.
They shifted their beds from one place to another to save themselves from the rainwater. Those recuperating in the open verandah somehow managed to keep themselves safe with plastic sheets.
Attendants were seen running to the hospital superintendent office to get accommodation for their patient somewhere else. But they could not get any help as in most of the portion of the old building repair work is going on.
The old surgical ward in the hospital building, anatomy department and Gandhi Ward have the problem of leaking roofs.
Moreover the construction material spread all over the ward and verandah is making difficulty for the patients. Rain water entered in to some of the wards also. The patients of the surgery and ENT wards are vulnerable to the Hospital Based Infection in the present situation.
