Kislay kidnapping: Gangster's wife held

In the first arrest in Delhi Public School student Kislay Gupta abduction case, the wife of a gangster was tonight apprehended from her house in Muzaffarpur, police said.

A police team from Patna raided the house of Kiran Thakur, wife of gangster Chunnu Thakur, and arrested her. She is being brought to Patna, police said.

Chunnu Thakur is lodged in Hajipur Jail in connection with several criminal offences.

Kislay was kidnapped from Patel Nagar locality in Patna when he was going to board a school bus on January 19.

Kislay's abduction has sparked widespread protests by school students in Patna for the last few days.
