Koli has accused Pandher of engaging gangster Ravinder Pradhan to kill him. Pradhan is also lodged in the Dasna Jail with Koli and Pandher. He is being tried for the alleged murder of Meerut University lecturer Kavita Rani.

In an application moved in the CBI court at Ghaziabad, Koli has said that he was being threatened not to make any statement against Pandher. The lawyer engaged by families of Nithari victims Khalid Khan said the CBI court had fixed Wednesday for cross examination in the Payal case, pertaining to one of the victims.

"Surinder Koli forwarded an application before the CBI court in his own handwriting, mentioning that Pandher and his son threatened him not to give any statement against him in the court and that they may kill him with the help of Ravinder Pradhan, main accused in the Kavita Rani murder case."

"Koli further said in his application that all incidents that happened at D-5 involved Pandher who was involved in

Koli has said he fears his family and he may get killed and he prayed to the CBI court for help. The court has taken the application, said Khan. "This application is a crucial evidence which may be considered by the court at the time of judgement," said Khan.
