Talented young all-rounder, highly regarded by the powerful people in New Zealand cricket. Averages 50 with the bat and 32 with the ball at first-class level. Has played 8 One-Day Internationals, and made a good impression, gaining man-of-the-match in one of them, taking 3/30.

He has, however, done little with the bat in these 8 matches. Was chosen for the VB series, however did not make the plane due to an injury and was replaced by James Franklin. Will look to recapture his fitness and his spot in the near future.
