One Indian fisherman was reportedly killed and another injured on Wednesday after Sri Lankan Navy open fired.

According to reports, the fisherman was allegedly killed for trespassing.

The fishermen belonged to the Pudukottal district of Tamil Nadu. It remained unclear where both the fishermen were killed.
