Less rain in Uttarakhand from June 30

While rainfall in Uttarakhand is likely to decrease from June 30, Uttar Pradesh is likely to experience heavy rains in the next few days.

While rainfall in Uttarakhand is likely to decrease from June 30, Uttar Pradesh is likely to experience heavy rains in the next few days.

The expected rainfall over Uttarakhand till June 29 will be around 3-6 cms, an official release of the Regional Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department has said.

From June 30 till July 2, the rainfall in Uttarakhand is expected to decrease to 1-3cm said the release — monsoon watch — which gave a seven day weather outlook for north west India.

“The well-marked low pressure area which is located over north-west MP and adjoining areas is likely to cause heavy to very heavy rainfall over Uttar Pradesh during June 28-30,” OP Singh, deputy director general of Meteorology, Regional Meteorological Centre, said.
