The Centre on Thursday told the Delhi High Court that it was willing to withdraw the resolution seeking termination of services of AIIMS Director P Venugopal provided he relinquished his office on his own.

However, senior counsel Arun Jaitley, appearing for Venugopal, refused to give any undertaking, following which Justice Anil Kumar posted the matter for further hearing on Friday.
