A huge and excited crowd was waiting for the train’s arrival at platform number nine. Financial advisor to the UP government Surendra Mohan Agarwal inaugurated the exhibition.

Visitors were privileged to view the Rs 600 insurance policy, which the Mahatma had taken from ‘The Hind Mutual Life Insurance Company’ for a monthly premium of Rs 5.

Documents related to policy claims of late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi were also displayed in the exhibition. On the occasion a free-health camp was also organised at the platform.

Regional manager of company VK Sinha and other officials apprised viewers about the history of LIC and the exhibition.

The ‘Zingadi Express’ left New Delhi on April 26 and would leave for Lucknow on Wednesday evening.
