LUSU to felicitate RP

LUCKNOW UNIVERSITY Students’ Union (LUSU) will felicitate Indian seamer Rudra Pratap Singh, who has done exceptionally well in the recently concluded ODI series at Pakistan, at a function to be held at Malviya Hall here on Saturday.

Elated with Singh’s performance, LUSU president Bajrangi Singh Bajju said that Rudra, an inmate of the government-run Gomti Nagar Cricket Hostel here, has done university proud by giving a great performance in the Pakistan series. He is a BA second year student of LU.

Vice-Chancellor RP Singh will preside over the function. Says Bajju: “Such personalities could become a great inspiration for other students to take up the sports seriously. Hence it is with this motive that we’re getting him here at LU where he would also address the students.”

LUSU meeting held: Office bearers of the LU Students’ Union (LUSU) held a meeting to take a stock of the situation before the commencement of the final examinations. In the meeting it was discussed that varsity must try to complete the examinations on time so that academic session does not get derailed.
