"Maoist leader Shambhu Da alias Bablu was held at Ravidas Tola of the village during an early morning raid...A pistol and a magazine were recovered from his possession," SP M Sunil Nayak said.

Shambhu was accused in the murder of Kharagpur block JD(U) president Manoj Singh and a retired Munger SP K C Surendra Babu, along with a dozen other incidents, Nayak said.
