Man arrested with explosives in Maharashtra

A youth was arrested and a cache of explosives recovered was from his house in Aurangabad, say police.

A youth was arrested and a cache of explosives recovered was from his house in Maharashtra's Aurangabad town early on Tuesday, police said.

Hiralal Ramchandra Rotre, 25, was arrested for illegal possession of explosives. He was working as a driver.

"Investigations are underway to determine the exact nature of the explosives recovered. Among the things found in Rotre's house were six bottles of a suspicious-looking liquid, each weighing about 200 gm," Police Commissioner KL Bishnoi told IANS.
