Man insensitive to nature

THE PSYCHOLOGY Department organised a seminar on ?Environment and Human Behaviour, Emerging Challenges, Intervention and Strategies?. Chief guest Prof RC Mishra highlighted the importance of the theme and said mankind had become insensitive to nature.

THE PSYCHOLOGY Department organised a seminar on ‘Environment and Human Behaviour, Emerging Challenges, Intervention and Strategies’.

Chief guest Prof RC Mishra highlighted the importance of the theme and said mankind had become insensitive to nature. 

Prof Mishra said the tendency of causing harm to nature had increased.

Heedless tree-felling and deforestation had resulted in global warming, flood and earthquakes. He said man should not try to conquer nature.

Prof Maheshwar Mishra and Prof KC Lal stressed the need for awareness among people. They said a drive should be launched to make people aware of emerging challenges to nature posed by man.

Earlier, the seminar began with Saraswati Vandana and Kulgeet. Prof KC Lal welcomed the chief guest. Eminent scholars came from different universities and affiliated degree colleges participated. He also spoke about issues relevant for every human being.

Prof NKM Tripathi also shed light on the significance of various subjects.
