A 22-year-old man lost his hand after he jumped before a speeding train to prove his love for his 19-year-old girlfriend. But things took a different turn when Gautam Kumar went to the police after the accident and lodged a complaint against his girlfriend’s family.

Kumar’s girlfriend called him to Ghaziabad on April 11. The two had a heated argument. She then asked him to jump before a train. He said she had made him consume alcohol before that. But on Tuesday, he approached the police, saying he wants to withdraw the complaint.
