Man, two sons commit suicide in Puri

A man along with his two sons allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide in a private lodge in Puri.

A man along with his two sons allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide in a private lodge in Puri on Friday, police said.

The deceased were identified as P C Devata (50) of Talcher and his sons aged between 12 and 15 years, they said adding a suicide note was found in the room.

The reason behind the extreme step taken by them was yet to be ascertained, while Talcher police had been informed and further investigation was on, they said.
