“The two HUDA officers — junior engineer Ganga Ram and sub divisional engineer NP Gupta surrendered before the court of Vimal Sapra, assistant chief Judicial Magistrate, Faridabad on Wednesday,” Investigating Officer in the case Vinod Kumar said.

The two officers were placed under suspension for dereliction of duty and were absconding since then. The police had alerted Kaithal and Ambala police also as the two originally belonged to these two districts. However, after raids at HUDA office and their residences, they surrendered.
