Maoist couple remanded to two days police custody

A local court in Hazaribagh on Friday remanded top Maoist activists Ravi Sharma alias Ashoke Sharma and his wife Anuradha alias Rajitha to two days police custody.

Chief Judicial Magistrate BN Pandey granted the police request for two days police custody of Ravi Sharma and his wife Anuradha.

The two were arrested on October 10 fron near in connection with Naxal activities in Bihar and Jharkhand.

The police claimed the two were responsible for the spurt in naxal activities in Jharkhand and Bihar.
