ANTI-RESERVATION MEDICOS of Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Bhopal, today resorted to cleaning vehicles on roads to register their protest against reservation even as their strike entered the 15th day.

ANTI-RESERVATION MEDICOS of Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Bhopal, today resorted to cleaning vehicles on roads to register their protest against reservation even as their strike entered the 15th day.

Several students gathered outside the GMC main gate in the morning and wiped the windshields and bonnets of all the cars entering into the college. They cleaned vehicles of most of the senior doctors and consultants of the Hamidia Hospital demanding latter’s support to their cause.

Later the medicos reached the main road and started cleaning all vehicles that stopped at the traffic signal. The junior doctors urged vehicle owners and passengers to support their struggle against the reservation.

The junior doctors are chalking out a strategy to make the bandh call on May 31 successful. Medicos of AIIMS, New Delhi, gave the call for bandh. Striking medicos in Bhopal went to several shops, private practitioners and nursing homes, requesting them to close down their business on May 31.
