Menses are a menace!
1. I am a 30-year-old girl. Last two to three years have been really painful for me as far as my menses are concerned. My menstrual blood is reduced to half. Even my usual four-day cycle has reduced to two days only. Otherwise, I have a regular 30 days cycle. My weight is 51 Kgs and height is 5'5" and I am not anemic. I am worried about this problem. What could it be?
Pain in the vein
2. From past three, I am experiencing pain in my knee. It is neither a joint pain nor any muscular one. On my kneecap there is a blood vein that is divided into two parts. At that dividing point, I have unbearable pain. If I don't touch it, I feel nothing. What can it be? Do I need to consult the doctor? Please guide me.

Condom ditched during sex
1. One of my friends had sex with his girlfriend. He used a condom but during the act, the condom tore off! Now, he is scared that his girlfriend might become pregnant. Is it possible? If yes, how can they avoid such a situation? Waiting for a reply.
Reply From Dr. Prem Lata Chawla: Your friend's girlfriend should get her urine tested for pregnancy in case her next periods get delayed by 10 days. A positive test confirms pregnancy and a negative test rules out pregnancy. She should see a gynecologist (lady doctor) in case the test is positive for termination of pregnancy, as she is not interested in having a baby. I did not understand your reference to - our parents would also not allow this. How come the girlfriend of a friend of yours' is a matter of concern for your parents?
'My hubby is cheating'
2. I was having a roaring sex life until last year. But, now things have completely changed. My hubby has become became obsessed with porn. I have been accusing him of cheating. He is unable to convince me that he is innocent. Every time I try to indulge in sex, he has an excuse of backing out. What do I do? I don't want to end my marriage. Help me out.
Reply From Dr. Prem Lata Chawla: Your reason for being upset is very legitimate. There is no arguing that your husband has strayed from his responsibilities and he does not realize that sex is for relationship building and not just for thrills. At this juncture of his addiction no amount of persuasion is going to help. An attitude of benign neglect from your side might be of some use. At least it would help in maintaining family peace till he realizes his folly.
