Militant hideout busted, explosives recovered
Security forces busted a militant hideout today and recovered a cache of explosives in Macchil sector near Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district.

Security forces busted a militant hideout today and recovered a cache of explosives in Macchil sector near Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district.
Acting on specific information, a police team launched a search operation in the forest area of Kungdooru in Macchil area and smashed a militant hideout, an official spokesman said.
He said five hand grenades, 12 mortar shells and five mortar fuses were also recovered during the searches.
