Miraculous escape for IA passengers

The tyres of the Delhi to Patna flight No 809 burst due to "heavy landing" on the runway, the airport director said.

All passengers and the crew members onboard an Indian Airlines Boeing from New Delhi to Patna had a miraculous escape on Wednesday as both the front wheels of the plane burst.

Director of Jaya Prakash Narayan International Airport Atul Dixit told a news agency the tyres of the IA flight no 809 burst due to "heavy landing"' on the runway.
