At 16, Mohammad Ashraful became the youngest ever Test centurian, scoring 114 on debut against Sri Lanka.

An aggressive middle-order batsman, Ashraful has been deemed by many as the future star of Bangladesh cricket.

After the Sri Lankan tour in 2002, Ashraful sat on the sidelines for sometime. However, after scoring 108 in the Patron's Trophy for Bangladesh A, he was quickly reinstated into the national team.

In Ashraful's comeback match he scored a fiery 98.
